This client came to me with pain beneath the shoulder blade, particularly during certain movements and while lifting weights.

Following a full assessment, I began with Manual Fascial Release to assess how the tissues were moving and identify areas of restriction and tension. As the fascial restrictions became clearer through treatment, targeted static cupping was then applied to those specific areas, not in a random pattern but to help decompress the tissues, reduce muscle tension and encourage improved mobility.

This is why every treatment looks different. Cup placement is based on what I find during assessment and treatment, ensuring it is tailored to your body rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.

Not all cupping marks are the same, and darker doesn’t automatically mean “worse.”

The colour and intensity of a mark can vary depending on factors such as:

✨ Local blood flow
✨ Skin sensitivity

Cupping marks are a normal response to treatment and usually fade within 3–10 days.

Although both use negative pressure to gently lift and decompress the tissues, each technique has its own unique benefits.
