Look at the artist behind the brushes 🤍

Experience matters, so does skill, professionalism, and consistency in their work. Anyone can post a nice photo, but more importantly how do you feel in their chair?

You should feel calm, comfortable, and confident. If something feels off, trust that feeling.

Take your time with your decision. Look through their work properly, read reviews, and make sure their style truly works with what you want for your day.

Because there will always be cheaper options, but your face deserves care, quality, and attention to detail, especially on such an emotional and important day 🤍

Choose the artist who makes you feel like YOU.

I think sometimes we forget to actually stop and look at how far we’ve come 🥹

I last did Lauren’s makeup 2 years ago, and when chatting to her during the appointment I had the idea to look back at the photos from then, and honestly it was such a nice reminder of how much my makeup has changed and evolved since.

It’s so easy to focus on what you want to improve or achieve next and forget about all the little things you’ve already learnt along the way. Looking back at this made me realise just how much my technique has been refined over the last couple of years.

So here’s a little reminder to look back every now and then, because sometimes you don’t realise how much you’ve progressed until you see the comparison right in front of you 🤍
