The Perfect Platter Aberdeenshire

I thought it was about time I did a little introduction post, especially after getting these amazing photographs back from Theresa Christie | Aberdeen Wedding Photographer from an amazing event I attended recently ✨

So… hi! I’m Laura Brown, owner of The Perfect Platter 🤍

The Perfect Platter is my full-time job, alongside being Mum to my two little ones, Philippa & Edward. I took over the business in March 2025 and have absolutely loved watching it grow over the last year and a half.

I’ve always loved entertaining friends and family, bringing people together over good food, so taking over The Perfect Platter just felt right.

There have been some pretty special moments along the way — catering onboard one of the incredible Tall Ships in Aberdeen, creating grazing tables at events all across the North East of Scotland, and of course, brightening people’s days with a platter delivery 🤍

Something that’s really important to me is making sure nobody feels left out. We cater for a wide range of dietary requirements, including gluten free, dairy free and more, and it’s something particularly close to my heart (my daughter is coeliac! And so is my sister The Perfect Cake Shed )

I genuinely still cheer when an order comes through and I’m so grateful for every single booking, recommendation, share and support we receive.

Being self-employed definitely has its ups and downs, but every order and every lovely message from a customer reminds me why I’m doing it.

And finally, I have the most amazing little team behind me. I genuinely couldn’t do what I do without them. 🤍

AFTERNOON TEA GRAZE 🍰 did you know we have FOUR different graze table options? Brunch/breakfast graze, Afternoon Tea graze, Sweet & Savoury Graze and Charcuterie & Ploughman’s. CORPORATE ORDERS ✨ did you know that we deliver on a weekly basis to offices in and around Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire? We like to jazz it up and offer something different! Wow what a week we had last week!
