Where it all began...

Discovered within the hollowed pages of a century-old herbal - the very scent that travelled the globe with the Captain himself.

Ambassador Extraordinaire Russell Lee holds it in hand, and one suspects he knows exactly what he's got.

Bergamot and Mandarin up top. Cardamon and Coriander at the heart. Vanilla, Sandalwood and Moss at the base. Redolent of intrepid voyages, ink-stained journals and evenings spent mapping horizons by lamplight.

Refined yet resolute. The scent of adventure itself.

Beaten paths are for beaten men.

Good Lord, the Captain's whiskers are positively trembling with excitement! 🏆

Ambassador Extraordinaire Russell Lee () is heading to Kilmarnock for the British Beard & Moustache Championships ( / .26), competing in the Full Beard 4–8" category, and after claiming British Runner-Up in 2024, one suspects he has unfinished business.

Joining him in the arena, the magnificent Fawcett Ambassador and multi-award winning Global Champion, Russell Bristow-King () will be taking on the Handlebar Moustache category.

Two Russells. One championship.

Here's wishing both gentlemen the very best of bally British luck!

Gear donned. Trusty steed mounted. Destination: Deutschland. 🏍️🇩🇪

The Right Hand Man departs dear Blighty today, bound for BarbersRide Germany 2026 - the global flagship ride of the year. From the Harz Mountains through Saxon Switzerland and the Erzgebirge, all the way to the Grand Finale in Eisenach.

Five days of open roads, extraordinary camaraderie and every mile ridden in aid of chosen charity Make-A-Wish. I say!

A gathering of the greats, turning kilometres into hope. The Captain could not be more proud. Bravo!

The Captain urges you to look up 🌑

This evening at 7pm, the skies above Blighty are putting on a rather spectacular show - and the RHM, ever the prepared adventurer, has dusted off his copy of the Collins Eclipse guide from the 11th August 1999. A once in a lifetime event, apparently. One does wonder if he's been carrying it in his breast pocket since. I say!

A gentle but firm word of warning from the Captain: do NOT look directly at the eclipse without proper protection. The RHM's rather fetching solar eclipse glasses are, naturally, the preferred option.

However, should you find yourself woefully unprepared, fear not - hold a colander or a pinhole in a piece of paper with your back to the sun and watch the eclipse project its crescent shapes onto the ground before you.

But don't go to bed! For the heavens have yet another spectacle in reserve!

The Perseids meteor shower reaches its peak tonight, visible across the Northern Hemisphere. From midnight until dawn, cast your gaze northeast towards Perseus, from whose radiant quarter these celestial streaks shall appear to issue forth. A most splendid nocturnal display, should the clouds have the good manners to keep out of it! 💫

And for those inclined to carry a little of the cosmos with them, the Captain's Nebula Signature Series seems a most fitting companion: a touch of the celestial, for gentlemen with their sights set on higher things.

Are you watching tonight, dear chums? 🌞

Hunstanton beckons! 🏖️

Yesterday, the Captain's Crew descended upon Hunstanton for their annual day of well-earned revelry consisting of beach huts, crazy golf, fish & chips and a rendezvous with the sea life centre.

The RHM was already three ice cream scoops deep and eyeing up the putting green with suspicious confidence by 11am!

Rest assured that normal service shall resume today... probably ;}>

The Captain is absolutely delighted to welcome back the magnificent Ilona Moore ( / ) - Captain Fawcett's very own Educator Extraordinaire - as she returns to her old stomping grounds at the wonderful L'Atelier de La Barbière!

Huzzah, huzzah and thrice huzzah!

Here's to new chapters, familiar faces and the continued pursuit of first class barbering excellence. The Captain raises a glass most heartily.

I say, should you be in the area, do pop by, say hello and tell em' the Captain sent you! ;}>

The Making of Botanica Moustache Wax Part 3 🌿

After his magnificent expedition to New Covent Garden Market, the bloomin’ marvellous Simon Lycett () returns to Fawcett HQ - where the latest development of Botanica Moustache Wax awaits his discerning nose.

One is delighted to report, the verdict was most favourable.

From there, proceedings took a rather splendid turn as Simon filled the basket of a beautifully crafted Pashley butcher's bike - its sign writing painted by the tremendously talented Kayleigh of - with the very pelargoniums and wild rocket that inspired Botanica's distinctive vegetal, green and peppery character.

Suffice to say, it was a scene of quite extraordinary beauty...

The full story of how Botanica came to be is unfolding one chapter at a time - and one suspects the finest is yet to come. Watch this space. 🌸

Triumphant. The Captain's most exhilarating collaboration crafted alongside actor, motorcyclist and all-round good egg Rufus Hound.

Inspired by the heady elation of bowling down England's green and pleasant lanes, visor up, hedgerows foaming, laughter riding on the wind. Bright as a May morning. Alive with the call of the open road.

Top notes of Bergamot, Lime and Ylang. Mid notes of Blackcurrant, Clove and Galbanum.

Base notes of Sandalwood, Ambergris and Musk.

The full Triumphant Signature Series; Eau De Parfum, Beard Oil, Beard Balm & Moustache Wax awaits the adventurous gentleman via https://www.captainfawcett.com/pages/triumphant

Superb for souls with a fondness for fresh air, horsepower and a roguish twinkle in the eye...

Onwards! ;}>
