I qualified with an HND in Beauty Therapy back in 2009 and haven’t looked back. I started as a self employed therapist within Retson Hair & Beauty in March 2020. My goal has always been to make people feel better about themselves whether that be mentally or physically through the various treatments I offer. Im forever grateful to have been able to build an amazing loyal clientele over the years. We’ve shared lots of laughter, tears, cuddles, all the ups and downs of life and I’m here for it all!

I am a passionate hairdresser dedicated to helping people feel their best. I have been working in the salon since 2021, gaining valuable experience and developing my skills across a variety of hair services. I specialise in trendy, vibrant colours and colour transformations, beautiful cuts, and elegant styling for special occasions. I take great joy in collaborating with my clients to create looks that enhance their unique beauty and personal style. My goal is not only to provide an excellent service but also to build lasting relationships with my clients, ensuring they leave the salon feeling confident, happy, and completely satisfied with their new hairstyle! 💖

I have 10 years of hairdressing experience and still loving every minute of it! ✨

I love creating funky cuts and creative colours, but I’m just as happy creating beautiful blondes and balayages. I also do gents hair and offer scalp analysis to help understand your hair and scalp needs.

Over the years, I’ve worked with Lanza, La Biothestique and KIS gaining experience in both sales and education. I love product knowledge and currently work with Goldwell, Lanza and La Biothestique.

I have been working in Retson Hair & Beauty since November 2025 and I’m currently training at the Rainbow Room International Academy, with plans to qualify in March 2027. I’m passionate about learning, developing my skills and making every client feel comfortable and welcome during their visit.

KIRSTY - NAIL TECHNICIAN

I’m a nail technician with over 10 years of experience, specialising in natural builder gel nails. I started my journey at Retson Hair & Beauty in June 2018, and over the years l’ve been incredibly lucky to build a wonderful, loyal clientele that I’m so grateful for. For me, my clients are so much more than just appointments - they’ve become friends and, in many ways, like family. Our monthly nail appointments are often a chance to catch up, have a good chat, share life’s ups and downs and sometimes even have a little counselling session (no shade gals, for both of us 😂) I genuinely love what I do, and watching my knowledge and clientele grow within Retsons has been such a rewarding part of my journey. I’m incredibly thankful to every single client who has supported me over the years and continues to trust me with their nails.
