One of the biggest misconceptions is that all nail enhancements are unhygienic. In reality, a professionally applied, well-maintained hard gel overlay can actually leave your nails looking incredibly neat, short and natural.

My signature soft overlays are designed to enhance your natural nails—not make them look long, thick or obviously artificial. They’re perfect for clients who want elegant, healthy-looking nails with a barely-there finish.

✨ Hard gel is non-porous once fully cured, meaning it doesn’t absorb water, oils or bacteria in the way natural nails can. Instead, it forms a smooth protective coating over the nail plate.

✨ Every appointment includes a meticulous Russian manicure. Dead cuticle is removed, the nail plate is thoroughly cleansed and prepared, and loose skin is carefully refined, leaving a clean, polished finish.

✨ A smooth, sealed overlay is easier to keep clean than damaged or peeling natural nails, which can trap dirt and debris in splits or lifted layers.

✨ The product itself doesn’t “soak up” bacteria. However, any enhancement—gel, acrylic or natural nails—can become a problem if it lifts, cracks or isn’t maintained properly. That’s why regular maintenance and professional application are so important.

✨ Keeping overlays short and well-fitted also reduces the chance of snagging, lifting and collecting debris underneath the free edge.
