After a little over 2 years being based at Dobson House, Regent's Centre, we are very excited to announce that from early September our Newcastle Academy will have a new home.

We will be relocating into the centre of Newcastle, on the prestigious Grey Street. Our new Academy will be homed within the stunning The Bloom Project workspace.

This is a reflection of how our Hair & Beauty training for both apprentices and adult learners has grown over the last 24 months and that is in part down to our wonderful clients who support us by putting their trust in our learners to provide treatments as part of their learning and assessments.

We hope many of you will continue coming in and receiving treatments in our new site.

The exact date of opening will be shared as soon as it is confirmed and we will provide details of our 𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐧𝐞𝐰 booking system also

Our Manicure Bootcamp was a huge success! These budding Beauty Therapists are now ready for their Apprenticeship Placements!

They have the skills ready to earn their employer revenue from Day 1, with them completing an intensive training programme to learn the essential techniques for manicure treatments.

Direct Skills Group is looking for an enthusiastic Employer Engagement Officer (Hair & Beauty) to join our expanding team!

In this exciting role, you'll:
✅ Build relationships with new hair & beauty salons
✅ Recruit and support apprentices into rewarding careers
✅ Manage and develop existing salon partnerships

📍North East based
💷 Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 (DOE)
🎯 Bonus Scheme: OTE £40,000
🛻 Mileage & Expenses paid
