Message to book your space for Autumn baby buds 🍄🍁🍂
The best place to be in this heat is in the woods. Today’s camp we made Pom Poms, made our own little fires to toast our marshmallows, made new friendships and had the best day together
A fantastic group of children today with some amazing ideas. Creating, furthering their fire lighting skills and cooking. Thank you for sharing your children with us 🥰
What a great day we’ve had at camp today, we’ve been very creative:
🌼Pom Pom making
🍀Making and sustaining a fire long enough to toast their own marshmallow
🌳Getting creative with the hammer and nails
🐦 Making a feast in the mud kitchen
Camp days are so much FUN!
Fun Friday in the woods. Today camp was filled with crafts, creativity, friendships, perseverance and encouraging each other. Thank you for a fab day 🌿

Check this event out The Grange - Carleton Grange Trust for the solar eclipse! We will be attending 🙌🏻
Solar Eclipse @ The Grange
On Wednesday 12 August, The Grange and the West Yorkshire Astronomical Society (WYAS) will be hosting an event linked to the partial solar eclipse visible from the UK and the peak of the Perseid meteor shower.
The eclipse will be the first total solar eclipse visible in mainland Europe since 1999. While the UK will experience a partial solar eclipse, it will still provide an opportunity to observe the event locally.
The event will include:
• Solar viewing using specialist eclipse glasses and telescopes at the Rosse Observatory
• A free solar eclipse yoga session on the lawn with Ella Exhales
• The opportunity to stay into the evening to observe the Perseid meteor shower
• A live stream in the Assembly Room, which may be particularly useful if cloud cover affects viewing conditions in Pontefract
The event provides an opportunity for local residents and visitors to learn more about astronomy and observe these astronomical events alongside members of the West Yorkshire Astronomical Society.
For event details and timings, visit our website: https://www.carletongrange.co.uk/events/partial-solar-eclipse-at-the-grange/
The event is being delivered in partnership with the West Yorkshire Astronomical Society, who have been supporting astronomical observation and education across the region for many years based at the Rosse Observatory, within the grounds of the Grange.
