I am a professionally trained makeup artist, having studied for 2 years at West College Scotland in Glasgow, (HNC Fashion Makeup & HND Make-Up Artistry).

Last week was unreal. Fourth time seeing Machine Head live and they still blow everyone else out the water. Absolute monsters live 🤘

Machine Head meet & greet. Soundcheck. Met the whole band. Hit the barrier. Survived 2 hours in the pit before getting absolutely humbled by the crowd 😂
3 hours of absolute carnage and one of the best days of my life. Bruised, deaf, happy. What a day 🤘🖤

We had such a good time with the Bridges group working on these wounds.
We started right from the beginning, sculpting them out of clay, then creating latex prosthetic pieces from that, and finally applying them and bringing them to life with colour and blood.
I love watching it all come together, especially seeing how confident everyone gets as they go through each stage. It can feel a bit messy and unsure at the start, but by the end… look at these results!
They’ve done such an amazing job, they look so realistic.
This is one of my favourite parts of the week, getting to be creative, have a laugh, and see everyone push themselves a bit.
