Some people don’t need to be told to “relax.”
They need to feel safe enough to finally let go. 💔
Because sometimes the pain in your body didn’t start in your body.
Sometimes it started with grief.
Trauma.
Heartbreak.
Abuse.
Loss.
Years of stress.
Years of being the strong one.
Years of carrying everybody else while nobody ever asked who was carrying YOU.
And eventually… the body starts screaming what the mind has been trying to bury.
The tight shoulders.
The clenched jaw.
The bad back.
The headaches.
The aching legs.
The constant tension.
The exhaustion.
The feeling of never being able to switch off.
That is why my pain management sessions are different.
You might come to me because your body hurts…
But more often than not, somewhere during that treatment, the real pain starts coming out too.
People talk.
People cry.
People tell me things they’ve never said out loud.
They release years of built-up emotion while I’m working on the physical pain they walked in with.
And that is the part people don’t see.
I’m not just working on where it hurts.
I’m listening.
I’m reassuring.
I’m giving people a space where, for once, they don’t have to be strong.
Because sometimes healing starts the moment somebody finally feels heard.
And when the physical tension begins to ease at the same time as the emotional weight starts lifting…
THAT is when people walk out feeling like a different person.
Not because their whole life has magically changed.
But because for the first time in a long time, they’ve put some of the weight down.
Pain changes people.
It affects your mood.
Your sleep.
Your confidence.
Your relationships.
Your patience.
Your mental health.
It can make you withdraw from the world and forget who you were before everything hurt.
And that is exactly why these sessions mean so much to me.
People don’t just leave saying:
“My body feels better.”
They leave saying:
“I feel lighter.”
“I feel calmer.”
“I feel like I can breathe.”
“I feel like ME again.”
And there is no bigger reward than that. 🖤
You can’t thrive while you’re just surviving.
Sometimes you don’t need to push through.
