5 TIPS WHEN TATTOOING THE LIP BORDER 💋
1. Don’t stop/start on the Cupid’s bow points
Work through the point rather than stopping directly on it. This helps keep the bow smooth and avoids creating heavy or blunt points.
2. Cross the centre point of the Cupid’s bow
Take your line slightly past the middle point. This makes your centre mark more obvious and means you’re much less likely to lose it as you work.
3. Use secondary numbing if you’re struggling to see your line
If your first tattooed line is very faint and becoming difficult to follow, secondary numbing can help make that line more visible.
4. No filler = slightly flatter, tauter stretch
Natural lips without filler generally need a slightly flatter, more taut stretch to create a stable surface to work on.
5. Filled lips = less stretch
Filled lips are already naturally more taut, so they generally require less additional stretch. Avoid overstretching them.

Just in love! My client obviously has gorgeous, natural fluffy eyebrows already. This is where some would say, “I don’t need them doing” but this is proof that, in my eyes, anyone can be a candidate for hyper-realism brows.
Who doesn’t want more hair? 😍
However, I will only give someone a bigger, fluffier eyebrow if it’s close to their natural brow. I wouldn’t create a brow of this style on someone who naturally has very thin brows.
Hair pattern and the actual density of someone’s natural brow hair also come into play, along with other factors. It’s a treatment that will vary from client to client, because the aim is always to work with what you naturally have and enhance when I can when I think it will still blend well. 🤍
Either way, you will always leave with more hair than you had before! It’s a win win 🏆 🤩 😜
For maximum hyper-realism results, 2–3 sessions are advised.

Naturally saturated lips 🌹💋 next in the Isle of Man 5th and 6th of Dec 📅 get it in your diary’s! 🫶🏻
My client already had quite a lot of natural colour within her lips, so going for anything too light wouldn’t have given us much of a noticeable change.
Instead, we opted for a richer rosy pink to enhance her natural lip tone, add more definition and give the lips that fresh, healthy pop of colour while still keeping the result soft and natural.
Lip blush isn’t one shade fits all. Your natural lip colour plays a huge part in the colours we choose and the result we can achieve 🤍
Remember, this is fresh! The colour will soften beautifully once healed.

The difference the right brow can make 🤍
This is why I love hyper-realism brows so much. We’re not trying to completely change your face, we’re simply adding what’s missing.
Creating realistic hair strokes throughout the brow has given her so much more shape, definition and fullness, while still keeping everything soft and natural.
Every set is completely bespoke. Your natural hair growth, density, skin and facial features all determine the pattern I create.
The goal? For people to notice your brows look amazing, but not necessarily know why 👀
WHATS INVOLVED?
1️⃣ First session: Consultation, mapping, perfecting your shape + your first layer of pigment.
2️⃣ Top-up: Once healed, we focus fully on pigment, rebuilding any faded areas and adding more definition.
3️⃣ If needed: An extra session for more detail, saturation and that extra 3D finish.
✨ 2–3 treatments are recommended for the best results, followed by yearly maintenance.

And this is such a good example of why your learning shouldn’t stop after your beginner course.
As a beginner, it’s almost impossible to take everything in from day one. You’re learning your machine, needles, depth, pressure, skin, pigment, patterns, stretching, technique… all while trying to actually tattoo. 🤯
Masterclasses allow you to go back once you’ve gained some real experience.
Suddenly, the things that felt overwhelming as a beginner start to make sense because you now have something to relate them to.
