It’s been a Stil summer ☀️
Swipe for a few recent sightings.

Just out here winging it 🤪

Designed to be left out, not hidden away.

Because good design changes habits.

And sunscreen only works if you actually use it.

It feels like this trend was made for startup founders 😂

There’s a lot I’ve had to learn to live without while building Stil…

A marketing budget.
Weekends.
A team.
The concept of ‘clocking off’.
My camera roll.

But there are a few things I refuse to compromise on.

The formula.
The packaging.
Creating our own campaigns instead of relying on AI.
Making mineral sunscreen people actually want to wear.

It’s been chaos but I’d build it this way all over again ☀️

When it came to creating Stil’s formula, there was one thing I knew from the very beginning…

I wanted non-nano zinc oxide.

Zinc oxide is the UV filter used in mineral sunscreens.

‘Non-nano’ refers to the size of those zinc oxide particles.

We chose it because it’s designed to help protect against UV rays by staying on the skin’s surface, rather than being designed to pe*****te into the skin.

The challenge? Larger particles have traditionally meant thick textures and a visible white cast.

So we set out to change that ☀️

It helps prevent premature aging and mineral formulas like Stil, even help improve texture and hyperpigmentation.

It’s a 12 week programme that supports early stage beauty brands and accelerates their growth in partnership with Boots UK and TikTok Shop UK
