If you want your balayage to last longer,
here are 4 things I recommend:

✨ 1. Don’t over-highlight/foil.
Keep some depth between your lighter pieces. It makes the colour look more natural as it grows and keeps some dimension.

✨ 2. Refresh your toner.
A toner or gloss including a root melt can revive your blonde/bronde between appointments approx. every 6-8 weeks without needing a full balayage appointment.

✨ 3. Don’t underestimate the power of a face frame.
A few strategically placed pieces around the face can instantly brighten your whole look. Sometimes, that’s all you need. 👌🏼

✨ 4. Invest in your home care.
Use colour-safe products. I always recommend Davines Heart of Glass of my blondes. Love love love! 💙
Use a clarifying shampoo once in a while to remove build up like Davines Solu shampoo which is unusually colour-safe too.
Limit excessive heat.
Always use heat protect.
I obviously love all the Davines range to help keep the hair healthy and the colour looking beautiful between appointments. 💖

And honestly…
sometimes you don’t need a whole new colour!
You just need the right refresh. 😘

I know the social media feeds loves a loud, high contrast transformation and the quiet, subtle transformations can go tumbleweed…so let’s just take a minute to appreciate the hours of work (placement, blending, refining) that went into this subtle lived-in beauty so Katrina can get months and months out of her cut and colour. And I mean obviously some of that effort was down to her gloriously XXL hair! 🤣
