Breast implants are carried every day. Their weight should therefore form part of long-term surgical planning—alongside dimensions, shape, tissue quality and the result the patient hopes to achieve.

For suitable patients, lightweight breast implants can reduce the additional weight placed on the breast tissues while providing the volume required for balanced, natural proportions.

London has been an important part of my professional life since 1990.

It is where I developed much of my surgical experience, built lasting relationships with patients and established the principles that continue to guide my work today.

Although I now live and practise in Dubai as well, I continue to return to London regularly. Working between two very different international cities keeps my perspective fresh—but my approach remains the same wherever I am.

I believe in listening carefully, offering honest advice and creating an individual plan for every patient. Experience is not simply the number of years one has worked. It is the judgment developed during those years—and knowing when surgery is appropriate, when a different approach is preferable, and when it is better to say no.

London and Dubai are both part of my professional life. In each city, my commitment remains personal care, discretion and long-term responsibility.

Some surgical outcomes are measured not only in symmetry, but in freedom.

Kaitlyn was born with Poland syndrome, a congenital condition that affected the development of one side of her chest. She had lived with significant asymmetry from childhood and, following three pregnancies and breastfeeding, the difference became more pronounced.

Her treatment required a carefully individualised approach: an uplift of the natural breast, an implant on the affected side and fat grafting to improve the chest contour.

Perfect symmetry cannot be promised in complex congenital cases. The objective was to create greater balance while respecting her unique anatomy—and to provide attentive care throughout her recovery.

I am grateful to Kaitlyn for choosing to share such a personal journey. Her hope is that someone living with the same condition may feel less alone.
