QUITTING SATURDAYS AFTER 13 YEARS🫣….

But how can a hairdresser NOT work a Saturday ???

Something that would’ve been non existent 10 years ago…

But the industry has COMPLETELY changed, the world has changed. The change I have seen in clients life styles and work over the past 13 years, it’s not appealing to sit in a salon on your only day off for 5+ hours 🤷🏽‍♀️

Not to mention, there has to come a point as a stylist where you choose working to live over living to work 🤍

Doesn’t mean you love your job any less, but with age comes knowledge and a work life balance allows me to be better at my job, which overall will allow more success 🫶🏼

Becoming your own boss does not have to mean you have to work every hour god sends, it should mean you prioritise what is best for you and your life style 🤍

I think 13 years of a 6 day week screams how much passion I have for hair, but nothing changes if you do not make changes
