How much does bunion surgery cost in the UK?
Costs depend on whether one or both feet need treatment, your X-rays, and the most suitable procedure for you.
As a guide, minimally invasive bunion surgery is approximately £6,500 for one foot and £10,000 for both feet, with consultation and X-ray costs added separately.

A new blog post and surgical video have landed - link in the first comment!
This time, Mr Kaser Nazir explains tailor’s bunionette surgery step by step — showing how a painful bunionette on the outside of the foot can be corrected using a minimally invasive keyhole technique.
A tailor’s bunion, also known as a bunionette, affects the little toe side of the foot. It can cause rubbing, redness, swelling, shoe discomfort and pain when walking.
In the new video, Mr Nazir demonstrates how the fifth metatarsal is carefully corrected through tiny entry points, using X-ray guidance and titanium screw fixation to stabilise the bone.
In the blog, we explain:
* What a tailor’s bunion is
* Common symptoms
* When surgery may be considered
* How the keyhole procedure works
* What the main benefits are
* What recovery can involve
If you have a painful bump on the outside of your foot near the little toe, this is worth watching.

New BLOG POST 📝 👣
Do non-surgical bunion treatments actually work?
Many patients try orthotics, splints, toe spacers, exercises or wider shoes before considering surgery. But it is important to understand what these treatments can and cannot do.
Non-surgical treatments may help reduce discomfort, improve shoe comfort and support the foot — especially in mild or flexible bunions.
However, once a bunion becomes more structural, these options are unlikely to correct the deformity itself.
In our latest blog, Mr Kaser Nazir explains:
• Whether orthotics can help bunions
• When splints may cause more pain
• Why toe spacers are not always the answer
• How footwear can reduce symptoms
• Why exercises may help foot function but not always correct the bunion
• When it may be time to see a bunion specialist
If you are relying on non-surgical treatments but your bunion is still painful, it may be time to understand what is really happening inside the joint.

Think you’ve got a bunion? It might not be.
A lot of people come in expecting bunion treatment… and find out it’s actually Hallux rigidus — a completely different condition that needs a different approach.
👉 Key difference:
Bunions = side of the foot
Arthritis = top of the joint + stiffness
Get this wrong, and you delay the right treatment.
We’ve broken it all down in our latest blog—symptoms, causes, and the best treatment options (including minimally invasive surgery).
