Just a moment.
A few seconds to remember why I push myself so hard.
Sometimes, that’s all I need.
Then I try again. And again.
Because I grew up watching my parents struggle to provide for us, especially during the 2008 financial crisis. Even as a child, I could feel the worry.
I made a promise to myself: when I grew up, I would build a life where money didn’t feel like a constant fear.
That little girl is still part of me. And so much of what I do today is for her.
