One year ago today, on 15th July, our world was turned upside down.

A devastating flood hit our salon, and in a matter of moments we went from welcoming clients through our doors to facing the possibility of losing everything we had worked so hard to build. What we thought might be a temporary setback quickly became one of the most difficult periods we’ve ever experienced.

For five weeks our salon doors remained closed, but the uncertainty made it feel as though we may never reopen. It was emotionally and financially draining, and there were times when we genuinely wondered if THG Salon would survive.

Through it all, one thing kept us going – you.

To every client who checked in on us, sent kind messages, waited patiently for appointments, supported us when we reopened, and stood by us throughout the journey, thank you. Your loyalty, understanding and encouragement meant more than you’ll ever know. You reminded us why we do what we do and gave us the strength to keep fighting.

A year later, we’re proud to still be here, doing what we love every day. While the flood tested us in ways we never imagined, it also showed us how incredible our salon community truly is.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in us, supporting us, and helping us come back stronger than ever. Here’s to many more years together.
