I do love a supplement, but the industry is full of bold claims, beautiful bottles and barely any proof.

This month, researchers found major flaws in studies used to sell collagen (Grimes & Mahto, 2026) so it got me wondering which subscriptions I should cancel or keep.

Evidence is still emerging for a lot of skin supplements, but here’s what I found on my deep dive into ingestible beauty.

💊 Supplements MAY support your skin but they CAN’T replace good skincare SPF or medical treatment.

🧘🏻‍♀️Consistency is KEY. Don’t expect immediate changes, at least 3 months of consistency is where you start to see real change.
