Wolf cut πΊβ¨
For this look, I went in fully with the razor.
The goal wasnβt just to take off length; it was all about taking out the heavy weight that can pull curls and waves down, and instead cutting with the natural flow of the hair.
Razor cutting allows me to see how the hair falls in realtime, removing bulk where it gets blocky and creating soft, lived-in texture that moves effortlessly.
The best part?
A cut like this has incredible longevity because it grows out beautifully.

The ultimate lived in minimal effort curly s**g. πβ¨
No tedious 45-minute styling routines.
No heavy diffusers.
Just a razor cut and a simple 3-product cocktail designed to let your curls air-dry into absolute perfection.
A lot of clients travel far and wide to my chair because finding a stylist who specializes in razor cutting for curly hair isn't easy.
Why the razor?
Because every single curl pattern is a unique fingerprint.
I don't use a standard template. Every step is entirely customized to your face shape, features, hair growth patterns and exactly how much styling you actually want to do daily.
For this effortless, lived in texture, we prepped the hair with a quick 3-step routine using evo-
1οΈβ£ Evo Happy Campers β A lightweight leave-in conditioner to prep, hydrate, and shield the curls.
2οΈβ£ Evo Liquid Rollers β A curl balm to enhance natural bounce and hold the definition without the crunch.
3οΈβ£ Evo S**g Paste β The secret weapon. Applied to finish the look, it gives that perfectly worn-in, piecy texture straight away with absolutely zero fluff.
Once the product is in, you just let it air-dry and go.
Slide to the very last frame to see the 'Before' transformation! β‘οΈ

The modern MOD isnβt just about the length itβs about where the weight sits. βοΈ
This one was cut entirely with a razor.
The perimeter gives the cut its structure, while removing weight through the interior, crown and sides allows the shape to move, soften and sit naturally.
I love using the razor for this kind of cut because it releases weight without leaving that hard, solid edge. It gives the hair room to move, flick, tuck and fall into place.
while still keeping enough density to make the shape feel strong.
The result is a MOD-inspired shape with a softer, more lived-in finish.
Structured, but not rigid.
Full, but not heavy.
Short, but still with movement.
β¨ itβs not always about how much you take off.
Itβs about where you leave the weight. π

Lovely new client Audrey wanted to lose the βmushroomβ shape and get as much movement into her almost-straight hair as possible.
So we went ALL razor with invisible layers.
Taking out the bulk without losing the density or making the hair feel overly layered.
The weight was carefully removed around and behind the ears, where it tends to collect and make tucking the hair behind the ear awkward.
A little extra shortness in this area means the hair now naturally tucks, moves/flicks and sits rather than fighting against itself.
The fringe is a soft curtain shape, but I kept plenty of length through it so Audrey can move it around and wear it differently.
The result?
β¨ Less bulk
β¨ No mushroom shape
β¨ More movement
β¨ Easy ear-tucking
β¨ Soft, textured edges
β¨ A bob that still feels full

We never get enough photos of the back of a haircut π
When youβre looking for haircut inspiration, itβs so easy to focus on the front..but the back is such an important part of the overall shape.
So hereβs a little collection of recent cuts, photographed from behind, because sometimes this is the angle you actually need to see.
Save the ones you love for your next haircut βοΈπ€
BIG CHOP βοΈ BIG CHANGE π€
Taking those gorgeous natural curls and texture and really working with them rather than against them.
We went from a longer, s**ggy shape to a much shorter cut with lots of s**ggy, razor-cut layers.
giving the curls movement, texture and loads of versatility.
I kept the face framing and fringe soft and cute, sitting around the cheekbones, so it can be worn full and curly, pushed over to one side or parted full fringe.
The fringe doesnβt have to be a big commitment! β¨
If you want to keep it fresh between cuts, just book a quick 15-minute fringe trim every 5 weeks or so. It makes such a difference to the face framing and helps you enjoy your haircut for longer.
Styled with EVO:
β¨ Liquid Rollers
β¨ Happy Campers
β¨ Leave-In Conditioner
β¨ S**g paste to calm the frizz, define the texture and give that lifted, undone finish.
Natural texture + a razor + lots of layers = CURLY S**G BOB MAGIC π€

This layered razor cut was simply diffused to bring out Alex's natural texture.

Thinking about a bixie or changing it up? βοΈ
I've put together some of my bixie side profiles so you can swipe through and see how beautifully different a bixie can look.
Every haircut is razor cut and tailored to the individual. It's never about copying one style it's about creating shape, movement and softness that works with your hair, lifestyle and face shape.
One of the reasons I love a bixie is how versatile it is. They're so mouldable.
you can flip the fringe from side to side, tuck the front pieces behind your ears, or leave a few soft, petal-like pieces loose to frame your face.
It's a haircut that's designed to move naturally with you, making it effortless to manage day to day. Whether you wear it polished or beautifully lived-in, it works with your natural texture, not against it.
