This is some filigree work I did for the 2001 set. They are details that were sculpted in monster clay, molded in silicone and cast out in resin 4 times, for 4 sections of the walls. They were sculpted around some resin casts of plaster drags we made for the walls.

1:6 S C A L E B U S T S
These are two 1:6 scale bust's I did for the 2001 replica set build. the small round base was made using the lathe and the head and shoulders were sculpted in super sculpey. I also made the plinths they are on.

This was a collaborative project between the Model Making department and the VFX department in the National Film and Television School. It took 7 weeks and 12 model makers (myself and my amazingly talented classmates) to make it, under the guidance of our HOD John Lee ~ .rockyroad

This is a latex mask I created for the character Antaeus in my hercules project. I life cast my model, sculpted the mask on the cast, and did a latex slush mold. I used q mixture of acrylics and UV paint to paint the mask.
Antaeus is described as a collector of skulls and born from the earth. I designed him to have a skull that had vines growing around it with trilobite and fossils.

Brief: For my final project at the end of my BA in Design for Stage and Screen, I took a script from an old film "Hercules and the circle of fire" and redesigned the characters. The concept I went with was what if ancient Greece never fell? What if they continued to advance until they reached a futuristic cyber world.
