Born into an Italian Albanian family, Anna grew up surrounded by the rich traditions of both cultures, where beauty and self-care were a natural part of everyday life. Coming from a family of hairdressers, she developed an early passion for hairstyling and the power of transformation.

She moved to London in 2018 and always worked in holistic environments. She found and joined the Shine family in 2024, a place with a lot of talented people, who gave her the opportunity to fulfil her dream and desire to be trained and soon become a hairstylist.

Anna is a very cheerful person who loves bringing positivity and energy into her work and life. Beyond her profession, she loves traveling and discovering new cultures, finding inspiration in every place she visits. Music is a big part of Anna’s life—it fuels her creativity and sets the perfect mood for her work. She also has a deep love for animals and believes in the healing power of connection, whether it’s through touch, creativity, or the unconditional companionship of our furry friends 🙌🏻✨

‘Yes, Newington Green’s winsome appeal isn’t new. It’s been ‘very nice’ there for a while now. What is inarguable though, is that the area has achieved a kind of critical mass of niceness. This leafy, lengy northeastern enclave contains enough charismatic cafes, decent pubs, independent food shops and critically acclaimed restaurants to make it the best place to eat and drink in the capital right now.

But there’s much more to this place than prettiness, pasta and pastries. This is a neighbourhood with centuries of history and tons of community spirit. The Newington Green Meeting House, which sits like an austere sentinel at the top of the Green, is one of London’s most important sites for progressive political and social causes. More recently, but still before the Jolene crowd was even born, the area was a focal point for London’s Turkish and Cypriot immigrant population, something still tangible on Green Lanes.

These days it’s brimming with brilliance. From newly forged, hipstery gastropub Golden Tooth and small-herd butcher-cum-nightclub Stella’s to legendary Turkish seafood joint Sariyer Balik and the old Mildmay Club, Newington Green successfully combines both new and old London. It’s hard to imagine a more dyed-in-the-wool boozer than the Army & Navy pub, or a more cutting-edge wine bar than Cadet. The fact it’s all contained within the same few streets is cool by my reckoning. And hey, if that’s not enough, Dalston is a 10-minute walk away’
