A little reminder that you don’t always need a passport to completely switch off 🌊

We escaped to Tenby in Wales for a few days and honestly, it had everything we needed.

Colourful little streets, quirky cafés, hidden caves, a boat trip to spot seals basking on the rocks, long beach days, and watching my son happily digging in the sand for hours with absolutely no agenda.

It reminded me how restorative nature can be when we actually slow down enough to notice it.

As someone who spends so much time talking about wellbeing, this kind of break felt like a reset. Fresh sea air, less rushing, more walking, more laughing, and fewer screens.

It’s also a lovely reminder that choosing somewhere closer to home can be a conscious choice too. Not every holiday has to involve airports, queues and flying across the world. Sometimes the most memorable adventures are right here on our doorstep.

If you’re looking for a family-friendly escape that feels good for both you and the planet, I’d wholeheartedly recommend the Welsh coast.

Summer is always a little different when you run a small business ☀️

Things naturally slow down (which, if I’m honest, is quite nice after a busy spring!) and it gives me the chance to step back, get creative and work on the business instead of always being in it.

Over the last few weeks I’ve been…
🌲 Bringing our beautiful new Evergreen collection to life with my mum’s illustrations.
🏡 Giving my workshop and home some much-needed love.
🎧 Rediscovering my love of DJing and exploring where that might take me.
💛 Making time for friends and remembering how important that is too.

While things feel quieter now, Christmas is a completely different story…

Workshops for November and December are already starting to fill up, and every year I’m reminded how quickly those dates disappear🎄✨

Ever since turning 43 (and perhaps because I spend my days building a wellness and skincare brand), I’ve been thinking about ageing.

The funny thing is… I’ve never really felt my age.

When I look in the mirror, I don’t notice wrinkles first. I notice whether I look happy. Tired. Peaceful. Overwhelmed. Full of life. That’s what catches my attention.

I find it fascinating how much energy we spend worrying about looking older, when what we’re really searching for is to feel more alive.

One of the places I feel most ageless is on a dance floor at 3am.

No one cares how old you are. Everyone is simply lost in the music, the energy and being together. I’ve always found it strange when people tell themselves they’re “too old” to go dancing, wear something they love, start a new hobby or do anything that brings them joy.

If you stop yourself from doing the things you love because you’re worried about what other people think, you’re building your own prison.

So here’s my philosophy.

Find the people who make you laugh until your face hurts.

Do the things that make you lose track of time.

Take care of your body because it carries you through this beautiful life.

And yes… give your skin a little love too. Not to look younger, but because caring for yourself is one of the nicest things you can do.

Age is inevitable.
Feeling alive is something we get to choose.

Officially back from holidays and back into an even hotter UK 🙈✨🤪 well, at least I can show off my tan, right?

Mallorca was beautiful - got to spend time with family (or sometimes away from them too 🤣🤣🤣), DJ by the poolside in our villa and devour loads of yummy food and drink, now back with loads of fresh energy and ideas. I hope everyone’s handling the heatwave ok.
