TRUE or FALSE?

Filler is completely gone after 12 months.

The answer is… false.

One of the biggest misconceptions in aesthetics is that filler simply disappears after a set amount of time.

The reality is much more individual.

How long your filler lasts depends on:
• The area treated
• The type of filler used
• Your metabolism
• How expressive your face is

As a general guide:

💉Lips: 6 to 9 months

💉Cheeks: 12 to 18 months

💉Chin & jawline: 12 to 24 months

💉Tear trough: Often 12 months or longer

But here’s the important part…

Just because filler may still be present doesn’t always mean it still looks its best.

That’s why I don’t recommend maintenance based purely on time. I recommend it based on how your face looks, how the product has settled, and whether treatment is actually needed.
