🎨 Tripping Through the Self 🧠

Artist Bryan Lewis Saunders pushed the limits of perception by drawing self-portraits under the influence of various drugs — capturing how each one altered his sense of self and artistic style.

From the dreamy disorientation of DMT to the sharp, chaotic energy of crystal m**h, each portrait reveals a different mental landscape. Some are surreal, others unsettling — all are intensely personal.

This was part of his ongoing self-portrait series, started in 1995 — a daily visual record of identity and altered consciousness.

The project had real risks. Saunders doesn’t promote drug use — his work is a raw exploration of the mind, not a celebration of intoxication.

When the messenger becomes more important than the message, we’ve lost our way.

The plant is the star.

Less ego. More education. More access. More support. More plant.🌿

A to***co plant has been genetically engineered to produce five psychedelic compounds, including psilocybin, psilocin, DMT, bufotenin and 5-MeO-DMT.

Researchers achieved this by temporarily introducing genes from multiple organisms into Nicotiana benthamiana, enabling the plant to act as a living biochemical factory.

While still experimental, the work highlights a potential future pathway for producing psychedelic compounds more sustainably, reducing pressure on natural sources while supporting research into treatments for conditions such as depression, PTSD and addiction.

The UK’s medical cannabis sector has come a long way since legalisation in November 2018.

What began with only a handful of patients has grown into a rapidly expanding treatment pathway, with tens of thousands of people now accessing prescribed medical cannabis for conditions including chronic pain, anxiety disorders, PTSD, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis and more.

While exact patient numbers aren’t officially published, the best available market estimates indicate continued year-on-year growth, reflecting increasing awareness, greater clinical confidence and improved patient access.

Despite this progress, many people in the UK still don’t realise that medical cannabis has been legal for nearly seven years.
Education remains one of the biggest barriers to access.

The more we share accurate information, the more patients can have informed conversations with healthcare professionals and explore all appropriate treatment options.

Knowledge changes perceptions. Education changes lives.

Figures shown are based on publicly available market estimates and industry data. 2026 is a projected estimate.

Not every equation that changes lives belongs in a physics textbook.

T = HC²

For millions of people around the world, cannabis has become part of the equation for a better quality of life.

Research continues to explore THC’s role in managing chronic pain, reducing chemotherapy-induced nausea, easing muscle spasticity in conditions like multiple sclerosis, and improving symptoms for some patients with certain medical conditions.

While it isn’t a cure-all, it has helped many people where other treatments have fallen short.

Sometimes, happiness isn’t about finding all the answers.

It’s about finding what works for you.

“Mentally ill, but totally chill.” 😮‍💨🌿

Mental health has become one of the biggest conversations of the last decade. More people than ever are speaking openly about anxiety, depression, PTSD, ADHD and other conditions that were once hidden behind stigma.

Anxiety is one of the most common mental health conditions worldwide, and for many people it exists alongside other mental illnesses rather than on its own.

While cannabis isn’t a cure-all and doesn’t work for everyone, a growing number of patients report that it helps them manage symptoms such as anxiety, chronic stress, poor sleep and trauma-related symptoms.

In countries with medical cannabis programmes, doctors are increasingly prescribing cannabis-based medicines where appropriate as part of an individual treatment plan.

No one should be judged for looking after their mental health. Whether that’s therapy, medication, exercise, meditation, medical cannabis, or a combination of approaches, the goal is the same: living a better quality of life.

Less stigma. More understanding. More compassion. 💚

Choosing not to use cannabis is your choice.

Respecting the choices of others should be too.

Whether recreationally or medicinally, cannabis has been improving lives for thousands of years.

Took way too much L*D by accident... with a Surprising Twist 👀

A 46-year-old woman accidentally snorted what she thought was co***ne — but it turned out to be L*D... at 550x the normal dose.

After 34 hours of intense sickness and hallucinations, she recovered - and som**hing wild happened:

- Her chronic Lyme disease pain vanished.
- She no longer needed daily morphine.
- She stayed off opioids, later using small L*D micro doses to manage pain.

Her case, published in a medical journal, is now part of a growing body of research into the healing potential of psychedelics.

Nature spent millions of years perfecting packaging.

🍌 Bananas come in biodegradable wrappers.
🍊 Oranges have their own protective peel.
🥒 Cucumbers don’t need shrink wrap.

Yet somewhere along the way we decided to peel them, slice them, place them in plastic trays, wrap them in more plastic, add a barcode... and call it convenience.

We didn’t improve nature.
We just added waste.

Every unnecessary piece of plastic starts with a choice.

Buying loose fruit and vegetables might seem like a small act, but millions of small choices create meaningful change.

Nature already solved the packaging problem.

Maybe it’s time we stopped trying to “improve” it.
