(Sorry) I know people might just want bath bomb & candle posts, in fairness I've never gone for making my insta look like a perfect brand page. I try to show the real impact your custom has on my life. It's not just numbers on a spreadsheet. When buying from a small family business you're helping a local family, not an offshore accountant.

Most will know, when I set up this business it was a last ditch attempt to keep myself alive. After a long & dark time, too many years of mental illness, too many pills & too many doctors. I couldn't comprehend the possibility that life would get better or that my illness would end. After a failed attempt I tried to start again & set up the Crescent business.

From market stalls, to a small pop up in Preston, to a shop in Maghull. Your support has given me a new chance at life. I never thought I'd see past 30 - now I'm watching my daughter have the time of her life talking to her favourite Princess (that she's named after).

Being her Dad is the most important & rewarding part of my life, I think it's the only thing that truly matters. How anyone can take this for granted is baffling to me. It's the greatest joy. How much I would have lost & missed out on if I wasn't here? I'm so blessed. I wouldn't have the ability to enjoy life in the way I do without the shop & in turn without you. It's been rough the past year & mentally it's been a struggle. I've had to take more days off this year to try & get some help. Your continued support means the world.

The people of Maghull have made all of this possible for me & I don't take it for granted in the slightest.
