A SOFTER TRANSITION TO NATURAL GREY 🩶

The aim of this colour transition was to begin embracing her natural grey, which is coming through in beautiful shades of dark slate grey, with little sprinkles of silver....

Rather than covering her natural grey completely or making a dramatic change in one sitting, we opted for a softer, more gradual approach.

We toned down the warmth through the lengths and ends using a slate grey tone, creating a cooler, more blended finish. We also deposited a little colour in selected areas around the roots to soften the contrast between her natural regrowth and the existing colour, while deliberately leaving some of her natural grey visible.

The goal isn't to hide the grey, but to work with it, allowing her natural colour to become part of the overall look as it grows through.

Slow, considered colour transitions are all about working with your hair, not against it. Over time, we'll continue to soften the contrast and allow those natural silver tones to shine through. ✨

From warm box-dyed colour to a multi-tonal finish! 🤎🤍

Today we added a combination of highlights , lowlights and ribbons of colour throughout the hair.....

We also included a hair treatment to give the hair some extra TLC following the colour process. 🫶🏼

The result? A more dimensional brunette with caramel tones and a blend of lighter pieces that catch the light perfectly! ✨

Every colour journey is different, especially when working with previous box dye, so taking a considered approach is key to achieving a beautiful result whilst looking after the condition of the hair. 🤎

✨ A LITTLE EXTRA VOLUME ✨

First time having extensions for this lovely lady, so we kept things subtle and natural, adding just 70g of Russian Remy Nano Ring Extensions for a little volume, length and a multi blend. 🤍

We rotated three beautiful shades to create dimension:

🤎 Light Ash Brown

So, what was the process?

✨ Pre-pigmentation preparing the existing blonde before going darker
✨ Chocolate brown layered through to create richness and depth
✨ Conditioning treatment giving the hair some much-needed nourishment
✨ Toning refining the remaining blonde for a seamless finish
✨finished with a fresh cut and soft curls

The result? 🤎 Brunette with beautiful dimension
