A picture is worth a thousand words.
These days we are facing loud criticism from many non-Iranians who suddenly claim to be deeply concerned about “war” and “humanity.” Yet we have not forgotten their silence during the massacre of Iranians in January. When Iranians were being killed, many of these same voices were nowhere to be found.
Their selective outrage speaks volumes. It increasingly appears that their so-called humanitarian concern is driven less by compassion and more by ideological hostility, antisemitism, and fashionable anti-imperialist slogans that substitute slogans for real understanding.
For some, the “anti-war” gesture has become little more than a convenient mask to hide resentment, prejudice, and self-righteousness.
If you truly care about humanity, apply the same standard to everyone. If not, at least have the honesty not to pretend.
Before taking sides, educate yourself about the reality Iranians have lived with for decades. And if you do not know enough about the situation, the wisest thing you can do is remain silent.

این روزها با انتقادهای بلند از سوی برخی غیرایرانیها روبهرو هستیم که ناگهان مدعی نگرانی عمیق دربارهٔ «جنگ» و «انسانیت» شدهاند. اما ما سکوت آنها را در زمان کشتار ایرانیان در ماه ژانویه فراموش نکردهایم. زمانی که ایرانیان کشته میشدند، بسیاری از همین صداهای پر سر و صدا اصلاً حضور نداشتند.
این خشم گزینشی خود گویاتر از هر چیز است. هرچه بیشتر به نظر میرسد که این ادعاهای به ظاهر انساندوستانه کمتر از روی همدلی و بیشتر از روی خصومتهای ایدئولوژیک، یهودستیزی و شعارهای مُد روزِ «ضد امپریالیستی» شکل گرفتهاند؛ شعارهایی که جای فهم واقعی را گرفتهاند.
برای بعضیها، ژست «ضد جنگ» چیزی جز نقابی برای پنهان کردن کینه، تعصب و خودحقپنداری نیست.
پیش از آنکه طرفی را انتخاب کنید، خود را دربارهٔ واقعیتی که ایرانیان دههها با آن زندگی کردهاند آگاه کنید. و اگر دانش کافی ندارید، خردمندانهترین کار شاید این باشد که سکوت کنید. .blackneedle
This is the real face of the left. As a British persian citizen, I am disgusted. But I wont be silent our people need help and the world is united except the UK?! We need to know why?
They claim to defend democracy, oppose monarchy, and stand against war — yet when it comes to freedom of speech, they only tolerate voices that agree with their own.
I was blocked from entering the event simply for wanting to ask questions of a Member of Parliament who was elected to represent everyone, not just a particular ideological or religious audience.
Shame on the organisers for denying our team entry, seemingly because we are Iranians who oppose their political agenda.
Our country needs help and support for liberation. Political realities will unfold regardless of attempts to silence dissenting voices.
We will continue to speak out. We will not stand down.

Hospitals in Iran are being attacked.
Patients in their beds and medical staff are being targeted and taken hostage.
Under international law, attacking hospitals and medics is one of the most serious crimes against humanity.
There is no justification. No excuse. No silence.
Be the voice. Stop the persecution of Iranian doctors and nurses.
