A couple of weekends ago, alongside exhibiting, I had the pleasure of sponsoring the Asian Bridal Makeup category at the AHT Association of Hairdressers and Therapists Finals in Blackpool.

Huge congratulations to the very talented 1st place winner for her beautiful makeup work on such a stunning model.

Events like this are such an important reminder that our industry is evolving beyond trends alone. Inclusion, education, wellbeing and confidence are becoming a far bigger part of modern hair and beauty conversations — and rightly so.

It was inspiring to see so much creativity, passion and future talent all in one place.

The shift is already happening!

Really looking forward to being at the AHT Association of Hairdressers and Therapists National Finals in Blackpool this May.

As a Habia-endorsed educator, and after recently delivering training within colleges, it’s been amazing to see just how quickly the alternative hair sector is growing — not just from a business point of view, but in terms of confidence and emotional wellbeing too.
