Concerned about acne scars, fine lines or uneven texture? Fractional CO₂ laser resurfacing can help improve skin quality by encouraging renewal and collagen production. 😘

🔬 WHAT IS IT?
A carbon dioxide laser creates tiny controlled treatment zones in the skin, leaving surrounding skin intact to support healing.

THE PROCEDURE
Following a consultation, the skin is cleansed and numbing cream is usually applied. Protective eye equipment is used while the laser passes over the selected area. Afterwards, dedicated skin care and sun protection are essential.

WHAT AREAS CAN BE TREATED — AND WHY?
• Face — to soften lines, acne scars and uneven texture.
• Around the mouth — to improve fine vertical lines.
• Around the eyes — selected treatments can address fine lines and crepey skin, with specialist expertise and appropriate eye protection.
• Neck, chest and hands — may be treated for texture and sun damage, but require particular care because these areas heal differently.

THE OUTCOME
Smoother texture, softer-looking lines and improved scar appearance. Results develop gradually as collagen remodels over the following months. Results vary, and a course may be recommended 😆

THE DOWNTIME
Allow roughly 5–10 days for initial healing after fractional treatment, sometimes longer depending on intensity. Expect redness, swelling, possible oozing, crusting and peeling. Pinkness can last several weeks. Deeper, fully ablative CO₂ treatments involve a longer recovery 🫶

Avoid makeup until the skin has healed, follow your aftercare carefully and protect your skin from the sun.

Suitability matters: CO₂ carries risks including pigmentation changes, infection and scarring, so a thorough consultation is essential.
