How often should you leave between haircuts? ✂️🤎
I get asked this one all the time, so I thought I’d put together a little guide for you girls 🤎
How often you need your hair cut really depends on the style you have and what you’re wanting to maintain. Whether you’re keeping a short, bouncy style, maintaining your layers or just wanting to keep those ends healthy, keeping on top of your trims makes such a difference!
4–6 WEEKS — SHORT CUTS & STYLES ✂️
Shorter cuts need a little more love to keep that gorgeous shape. If you leave it too long, the style can quickly grow out and lose the shape you originally loved.
6–10 WEEKS — LAYERED & SHAPED CUTS 🎀
If you love your layers, bounce and face-framing shape, booking your next cut within this timeframe will help keep everything sitting beautifully. Leave it too long and those layers can start to lose their shape and that lovely bouncy finish.
8–12 WEEKS — LONG HAIR & HEALTHY ENDS 🤎
For my long-haired girls, regular trims are so important for keeping those ends looking fresh and healthy. Removing those split and damaged ends helps prevent splitting travelling further up the hair and keeps your lengths looking their best.
And remember, a trim doesn’t have to mean losing lots of length! We can always have a chat about what your hair needs and how much you’re happy to take off. 🫶🏼
