PART 4 | THE RESULT

If you’ve been following along, we’ve lined the lips, started building that first layer of colour… and now things are looking a little different 👀

You might notice the body of top lip has gone very pale compared with the outline.

This is called blanching and it’s caused by the numbing cream temporarily reducing blood flow to the area.

It can look a little alarming, but it’s temporary — the natural colour will return as the numbing wears off.

And this is exactly why I wanted to show you the real treatment process, rather than just jumping from a before straight to a perfect after.

And for our Academy students… 🎓

This is where trust the process really matters.

When the lip blanches, what you’re seeing isn’t necessarily a true reflection of the colour you’ve implanted. Don’t panic and start chasing colour just because the lip suddenly looks pale.

Understand what you’re seeing, trust your technique and allow the skin to do its thing.

Now we’re starting to build the colour…

Watching this, the movements can look pretty quick and almost a little random — but there’s a method to it all. Every movement is controlled, and I know exactly where my needle is working and where I want that pigment to sit.

Lip Blush isn’t about packing loads of colour into the lips in one go.

I build it gradually, layer by layer, keeping in mind the finished result we’re trying to achieve — in this case, a really soft, natural n**e ombré.

And then comes my favourite bit… the first wipe. 👀

Even after just that first light layer, you can already see that gorgeous little wash of n**e colour starting to come through.

No filter. No AI. No fast-forward.
Just real skin, real pigment & real Lip Blush.
