It was a pleasure to welcome our hair suppliers to HeadKandy Hair this week for some really exciting conversations about the future of the brand, upcoming innovations and the next chapter of our journey. We also had a first look at some incredible new samples, and I genuinely couldn’t be more excited about what’s ahead!

We’ve also been developing something particularly exciting, a concept that we haven’t seen anywhere else on the market. It’s still in the early stages, but the potential is incredible, and if we can bring this vision to life exactly as we’ve imagined it, I genuinely believe it could be something really special for the hair industry. I can’t wait for the day we can finally share it!

One thing I’ve discovered about myself over the past year is just how much I love product development and the creative process behind building a brand.

Since rebranding HeadKandy, I’ve developed a real passion for turning ideas into something tangible. From identifying opportunities in the market to creating products that reflect our vision, I’ve learnt so much about the thought, detail and strategy that goes into bringing something new to life.

One of my proudest moments has been developing our very own hair colour shade, Tanjanine. To think that something which started as an idea in my head is now a real product, with an unbelievable response and orders coming in, is such a surreal feeling. There’s something incredibly rewarding about seeing your own vision become something people genuinely want.

It’s made me realise that I don’t just love running a business, I love creating, innovating and building something that didn’t exist before.

And whilst I absolutely love the creative side of what we do, I also know that a vision is only as strong as the team behind it. I’m incredibly grateful for our amazing HeadKandy brand team, who work tirelessly behind the scenes to bring our ideas to life. The dedication, passion and hard work that goes into every detail never goes unnoticed. Everyone brings something different to the table, and I feel incredibly lucky to be surrounded by people who care just as much about the brand and its future as I do. None of what we’re achieving would be possible without that collective effort, and I’m so proud of the team we’re building.

We have some fantastic products in the pipeline, and for me, this is one of the most exciting parts of growing HeadKandy. I’m constantly learning, pushing myself creatively and discovering just how much is possible when you trust your ideas, surround yourself with the right people and work together to bring them to life.

So proud of how far we’ve come, but even more excited about where we’re going.
