Russian lips aren’t about simply adding volume. The technique uses more vertical placement to build height, sharpen the Cupid’s bow and create a flatter, more defined profile rather than pushing the lips too far forward.

After injecting, we always feel the lips. This lets us assess symmetry, check how the filler is sitting within the tissue and identify any areas that feel uneven or need refining. Gentle moulding or massage may then be used where appropriate to help distribute the product and smooth the final shape.

What we see on almost every lash course is that students don’t struggle because they “can’t do lashes”, they struggle because isolation, tweezer control and fan making all feel awkward at first.

That’s why we don’t rush straight onto a model.

You’ll begin on a mannequin, learning how to isolate cleanly, place lashes correctly and make fans without the pressure of working around a real client’s eyes. Once your hands start to settle, you’ll move onto a live model and complete a full set with your educator beside you, correcting your technique as you go.
