With a weather alert in place for this week ☀️ it is important to keep some things in mind when it comes to your tattoos.

High heat can largely affect the healing of your tattoos, causing irritation, blistering, and patchy healing. It is important to avoid excessive sweating, direct sunlight, and avoid swimming until the skin is fully healed (typically 2-4 weeks). If like a lot of people, you have plans to go to the beach or spend lots of time in the sun during this weather, it might be best to reconsider your tattoo appointment if you believe the healing may be affected. We want your tattoo to be looking the absolute best it can 🥰 if you're still happy to go ahead with your tattoo appointment during the weather alert please make sure you stay extra hydrated and avoid sunburn on the area you would like tattooed. I cannot tattoo on sunburnt skin. Enjoy the gorgeous weather but stay safe and keep those tattoos looking fresh 😎

I absolutely loved doing this Okami piece - this was designed for my sister for one of her favourite videogames 🫶🏻
I used to watch her playing this game all the time when we were younger so this was quite a special one and so much fun to do 🥰
