Really lovely reduction for this client after just one brow removal treatment. Just removing the dark grey ink has made the brows appear much more natural.

We treated them again as the ink sits higher than her natural brow, and Wendy from Wendy Rennard | PMU Artist & Educator would prefer that ink to fade so that she can do a more natural brow shape when she works her magic on this client.

Did you know that you can get your radiotherapy tattoo removed here for free? It is a service I have always offered to ladies who have had radiotherapy to treat breast cancer.

Radiotherapy tattoos used during breast cancer treatment are usually very small, permanent marks placed on the skin to help the radiotherapy team accurately position you for each treatment session.

While some women see these tattoos as a badge of honour, others do not want a daily reminder of their cancer experience.

We can begin the removal of your tattoo as long as you have had no treatment in the last 12 months and you will need written consent from your surgeon or oncologist.

As a point of interest, not all hospitals use tattoos these days. When I had my radiotherapy a couple of weeks ago the hospital used surface-guided radiotherapy (SGRT) This uses cameras to track the patient’s body surface and position during treatment , allowing treatment to be delivered accurately without permanent tattoos 🙌 And here was me thinking I was in line to get my first tattoo 😂

What is a skin tag?

Skin tags are small growths that hang off your skin. They are small, soft growths which can vary in colour and size – from a few millimetres up to a couple of centimeters wide.

Skin tags are usually found on the neck, armpits, around the groin, or under the breasts. They can also grow on the eyelids or under the folds of the buttocks.

They are often caused by bilateral rubbing, often from a necklace, collar, bra or underwear.

They can look like warts, but skin tags are usually:
- smooth and soft
- knobbly and hang off the skin

Skin tags do not usually cause any pain or discomfort.
Both men and women can develop skin tags.
They are incredibly easy to remove by Cryotherapy and often only require one treatment.
