Microneedling depths matter ✨

One of the most important parts of a safe and effective microneedling treatment is choosing the correct depth for each area of the face.

Different areas have different skin thicknesses, concerns and anatomy. Using the same depth everywhere isn’t always appropriate and can compromise both results and comfort.

✔️ Shallower depths for delicate areas such as around the eyes and forehead
✔️ Moderate depths for general skin rejuvenation, texture and pigmentation concerns
✔️ Deeper depths may be used in areas with thicker skin or for concerns such as acne scarring

Treatment depth should always be tailored to the individual, their skin condition and the concern being treated.

❌ Not quite.

A little before & after of a previous lip filler result (not my work) that had lost shape and balance over time. The lips lacked definition, appeared heavy in certain areas, and weren’t enhancing the patient’s natural features in the way they should.

We chose to dissolve the existing filler and allow the lips to settle before carefully re-treating and rebuilding the shape.

The goal wasn’t bigger lips — it was better lips. 👄✨
