No surprise visits. No chance to watch your eyes light up as we smother you in love. I miss you, in ways that don’t always have words. In silences & In spaces where our laughter should be and
In all the birthdays we will never get to share as a family of four 💙✨

But today we remember you In the love we carry and the stories we tell. To remember you, your life and the legacy you left behind and all the birthdays we shared together… 🥂💫

3 years has gone by and I’m not sure how that happened..💙💔
Never a day for celebration but always a day to acknowledge the amazing person you were✨

1095 days have passed since you left this earth and not a single day has gone by that I haven’t thought about you, we are still adjusting to our family as a 3, still adjusting to life without you, still having easier days than others, still missing you in everything that we do.

We don’t get married..start families, thinking we need to organise a plan B if it doesn’t work out or doesn’t go to plan or god forbid, if one of you dies way before your time💔no one plans for these life changing curveballs… I’ve learned it’s ok to take whatever time you need to process and whatever works for you is ok.

What I have come to realise is that these feelings will never go, they will stay with us forever and at the start of this journey the fear of that was terrifying, you want to see an end…you don’t want to feel this weight of grief and sadness day in day out, it’s such a heavy load to carry around and takes everything in you to be able to cope with it.

So Now I have chosen to view grief completely differently, instead of trying to fight it I embrace it because if I feel what I feel then how lucky were we to have a love like ours 💗💙
How lucky are we that we created our little family ✨
How lucky are we to have such special memories that will never fade and will be shared throughout the rest of our lives ✨
How lucky are we that we built a life that we will Cherish forever ✨

All these things and everything inbetween I will miss forever but I will forever be thankful of us💗💙

So going into 2026 I’m embracing the pain embracing the sadness, love & happiness and every feeling that comes alongside this thing they call ‘Grief’
Because ultimately these feelings that we feel all come down to loving that one person that We miss so much. 🥰
