Microneedling Q&A ✨

A few questions I get asked all the time in clinic…

☀️ Can I have microneedling in the summer?
Absolutely - you just can’t come in with sunburnt skin, and you’ll need to avoid excessive sun exposure for around a week afterwards while your skin heals properly.

🤱 Can I have microneedling while breastfeeding?
Yes! We simply avoid using numbing cream during treatment while breastfeeding.

🩸 Am I supposed to bleed a lot?
Not at all - we want to see pinpoint bleeding at most. If your face is covered in blood, your skin is likely experiencing more trauma than necessary, and more aggressive does not always mean better results.

✨ Where can I get microneedling done?
Almost anywhere! While we most commonly treat the face, microneedling is also fantastic for acne scarring, surgical scars, stretch marks, and improving skin texture across the body.
