✔️ I layer my heat protection with a leave-in conditioner, cream and oil to help lock in moisture and defend against heat.

✔️ After each blow-dried section, I place the hair into Bantu knots. This allows it to cool in a smooth shape, reduces frizz and prevents the hair from expanding before styling.

At our last appointment we used a formula with a natural base. While it gave great initial coverage, it faded warmer over time, meaning more maintenance than we wanted.

This appointment, we changed the strategy:
✨ A cleaner lift
✨ Lowlights using Wella True Grey Steel glow dark + Granite shimmer dark (designed to fade beautifully without turning warm)
✨ Toned all over with Matrix Tonal Control, an acidic, deposit-only gloss to refine the overall tone.

The key? We left your natural grey untouched. That allows it to grow through naturally while creating a soft, salt-and-pepper blend rather than chasing full coverage.

Going forward, maintenance will simply be refreshing with Matrix Tonal Control to keep unwanted warmth at bay and maintain that cool, dimensional finish.
