We all love a bit of sunshine, but did you know the sun can be just as damaging to your hair as it is to your skin?
UV rays can:
✨ Fade your hair colour faster (especially blondes, reds, and fashion colours).
✨ Dry out the hair, leaving it brittle and prone to split ends.
✨ Weaken the hair shaft, causing breakage and frizz.
✨ Leave your hair feeling rough, dull, and harder to manage.
Here's how to keep your hair healthy all summer:
🌞 Use a hair SPF. Just like sunscreen for your skin, UV protection sprays help shield your hair from the sun and reduce colour fade.
💧 Keep it hydrated. Use a nourishing conditioner every wash and treat your hair to a deep conditioning mask once a week.
👒 Wear a hat. Not only does it protect your scalp, but it also helps prevent your hair from drying out in the sun.
🏊 Rinse after swimming. Chlorine and salt water can strip moisture from your hair. Rinse with fresh water as soon as you can and follow up with conditioner.
