As stylist and people in business I believe we may have all made these mistakes at some point .
It’s only through making these mistakes and growing as people that we come to realise our true worth and what is really important to make our business successful .

I’m sure there will be many more mistakes I will make and learn from along the way . But if you’ve not long started out don’t think you’re failing if any of these points applies to you . Just use them to do better and you will succeed ✨

One thing I love about what I do is making people feel confident !
I really do believe that you don’t feel yourself when your hair just isn’t what you want it to be .
I love this client with her natural hair but today we’ve added extensions to give body and extra length while keeping everything as natural as possible .
We’ve worked closely together over the years to encourage healthy natural hair so it creates a stronger foundation, which allows hair extensions to look more natural and blend seamlessly.

Here we used 100g of nano bonds in shades Melrose and Barley Blonde.

My studio is more than just a space for hair . My studio is a place of calm , a place where you can be you , be happy , be sad , be vulnerable.
Myself and my clients have started calling it “ The Therapy Room " 🤍

Over the years I’ve learnt to be a lot more open and transparent and by doing this I feel it makes my studio a safe space for you to be your true authentic self .

The sun came out so it was only right to go a little brighter ✨

A little maintenance is all it takes sometimes .
No over foiling , just a face frame and Mohawk finished with a root tap and global gloss 👌🏼

We’ve been working really hard on keeping this client blonde but low maintenance whilst improving overall condition. She has been taking all the advice I’ve given her and been using the correct aftercare at home .
The difference from a year ago is amazing !

I know for a fact there are so many wonderful stylist in my industry and I’d always pass on work if I need to .

Let me properly introduce myself for anyone new here !

I’ve only ever done hairdressing . I started straight from school at 15 where I began my apprenticeship at Keith Hall . Working there started the foundations of my career.
I’ve worked at 2 other salons since where I learnt new skills and trained with brands which I absolutely loved .

I just knew I wanted more . So 5 years ago my parents gave me the opportunity to start up on my own and set up my studio at their house . I was so excited but extremely anxious at the same time . I’ve always had the stability and security of employment and I was scared that no one would come to me and I’d be starting from the bottom .
But it was honestly the best decision I ever made .

My studio isn’t just a place for hair , it’s a safe space where you can be exactly you .

My clients have helped me through my darkest days . After losing my dad back in 2023 my world absolutely fell apart . Something I never knew was coming , an absolute shock to everyone and I never thought I’d ever be able to find myself again .
The thing is I didn’t find myself again , that version of me has gone .
Through lots of hard conversations, reflection and accountability in therapy I learnt to find the new me .
I now love the person I am . Someone less anxious , less angry , more confident, has learnt boundaries, learnt it’s ok to say no and that putting yourself first isn’t selfish .

I’ve been with my partner 6 years this year and I am now a mummy to my wonderful son Easton 🤍
I’ve got a fur baby Willow who gets more attention than me in the studio .
I love to travel , drink Prosecco & red wine and spend time with family and friends . 🌍 🥂

Colouring hair is my thing . I love a big transformation, lived in colour and coppers 🔥
Ive got my fire and love back for my work now . I feel like I’m pushing myself out my comfort zone in 2026 and I’m excited to see what happens .

I’ve proven you can be at rock bottom and still show up and run your business you are proud of . 🥹
