The neck, scalp, and head work together as one connected system.
When treating this area, I don't focus only on the neck itself.
Depending on your needs, treatment may include the suboccipital muscles, upper trapezius, levator scapulae, sternocleidomastoid, scalenes, temporalis, the epicranial aponeurosis (galea aponeurotica), and the surrounding fascia.
Many people don't realise that tension can build not only in the neck, but also across the scalp and around the temples.
The suboccipital muscles help support and stabilise the head, while the temporalis muscle is often affected by stress, jaw clenching, and teeth grinding. The scalp itself contains connective tissue and fascial layers that can also become restricted.
This is why I often include the scalp, temples, and the base of the skull as part of a neck treatment.
Working with these structures may help reduce muscle tension, improve mobility, promote relaxation, and leave clients feeling lighter and more comfortable.
Every treatment is tailored to the individual.
The goal isn't simply to massage where the pain is felt.
The goal is to understand how the muscles and fascia work together and help the entire area move and function more comfortably.

Neck and shoulder tension is one of the most common complaints I see in my practice.
Many people think a neck massage only involves working on the back of the neck, but in reality, neck discomfort can involve a much larger group of muscles.
The upper trapezius, levator scapulae, sternocleidomastoid, scalenes, suboccipital muscles, and even the jaw muscles can all contribute to neck pain and restricted movement.
Tension is not always found where the pain is felt.
Muscles at the front of the neck and chest can pull the shoulders forward, while tight muscles in the upper back and shoulder girdle can increase stress on the cervical spine.
This is why treatment often involves more than just the neck itself.
Depending on the individual, I may also work on the shoulders, upper back, chest muscles, jaw muscles, and surrounding fascia to help restore balance and reduce unnecessary tension.
Every body is different.
Some clients benefit from gentle relaxation techniques, while others need deeper work on trigger points, chronic muscle tightness, and long-standing postural patterns.
The goal is not simply to massage the painful area.
The goal is to understand why the tension developed in the first place and help the body move more freely, comfortably, and efficiently.

Every massage therapist develops their own style over time ✨
The longer we work with the body, the more techniques, approaches, and experiences we gather along the way.
No two therapists work in exactly the same way.
Some prefer slower movements.
Some focus on deep tissue techniques.
Others incorporate elements from different massage traditions and schools from around the world.
Over the years, many therapists naturally create their own unique approach by combining different methods that work best for them and their clients.
You may notice elements inspired by sports massage, myofascial work, deep tissue techniques, relaxation massage, stretching, or even approaches influenced by Eastern traditions.
Massage is not simply a sequence of movements.
It is a conversation between the therapist's hands and the client's body.
As therapists, we must consider not only what the client needs, but also how to work efficiently, comfortably, and sustainably with our own bodies throughout a long career.
This is why every treatment becomes a little different.
Different hands.
Different experience.
Different interpretation.
And that is what makes every therapist unique 💆♀️✨

Many people think facial massage is only about appearance.
In reality, it is often about releasing tension.
Stress doesn't only affect the mind. It affects the muscles too.
Many people carry tension in their jaw, temples, forehead, neck, and scalp without even realising it.
Over time, this can contribute to headaches, jaw tightness, teeth clenching, neck discomfort, and a tired appearance.
During facial massage, I don't focus only on the skin.
I work with the underlying muscles and fascia, helping them relax and move more freely.
When muscle tension decreases, circulation improves, the face often looks fresher, and many clients notice a deep sense of relaxation throughout the entire body.
This happens because the face, neck, and nervous system are closely connected.
Sometimes the best thing you can do for your face is not another cream.
It's helping the muscles underneath finally let go.

Many people believe that sports massage should always be deep, painful, and focused on trigger points.
In reality, there are different types of sports massage, and each serves a different purpose ✨
What you see in this video is post-event sports massage.
The main goal is not to work deeply into the muscles, but to support recovery after physical exertion.
After an event, muscles are often fatigued, circulation may be reduced, and the body needs time to recover.
Post-event sports massage aims to:
• reduce excessive muscle tension
• improve circulation
• support lymphatic flow
• reduce stiffness and heaviness
• help the body recover more comfortably
Every athlete is different.
Some people need more work on the calves.
Others on the back, shoulders, hips, or hamstrings.
This is why sports massage is never exactly the same from one person to another.
The technique is always adapted to the individual, their sport, their body, and their recovery needs.
Good sports massage is not about applying the most pressure.
It is about applying the right treatment at the right time 💆♀️🏃♂️✨

Back massage is often much more complex than people imagine.
Pain or tension is not always coming from the muscle where you feel it.
The body is constantly adapting and creating compensatory patterns.
When one muscle becomes weak, restricted, or overloaded, another muscle often has to work harder to compensate.
This is why during treatment I don't focus only on the area that feels painful.
To achieve the best results, we often need to work with the entire chain of muscles influencing movement and posture.
That may include the lower back, glutes, hips, hamstrings, quadratus lumborum, latissimus dorsi, spinal erectors, thoracic muscles, neck muscles, and the surrounding fascial structures.
Positioning also matters.
Sometimes the traditional face-down position is ideal.
Sometimes side-lying allows better access to specific muscles and helps the body relax more effectively.
Different positions allow us to work with different structures, including the subscapularis, serratus anterior, rotator cuff muscles, deeper spinal muscles, and many other areas that are difficult to access in a standard position.
Every body is different.
Every posture tells a story.
And every treatment requires observation, adaptation, and an understanding of how muscles work together rather than in isolation.
Massage is not simply about pressure.
It is about understanding anatomy, movement, compensation patterns, and helping the body return to a more balanced state.

The longer I work with the body, the more I understand that massage is never just about muscles ✨
Every person carries tension differently.
Some people hold stress in the shoulders.
Some in the jaw.
Some stop breathing deeply without even noticing it.
And very often, the body adapts to overload for so long that tension starts to feel “normal”.
This is why my work is never based on one technique alone 🌿
Sometimes the body needs slow, calming movements and nervous system regulation.
Sometimes it needs deeper tissue work, trigger point release, percussion therapy, cupping, or focused recovery treatment.
Different tissues respond differently.
Different nervous systems respond differently.
And every body tells its own story through movement, posture, breathing patterns, muscle guarding, and tension.
The more experience I gain, the more I understand that real bodywork is not about “following a routine”.
It is about observation, adaptation, and understanding what the body actually needs in that moment.
Whether it is relaxation massage, sports recovery, post-surgery rehabilitation, or facial massage — the goal always remains the same:
to help the body move better, feel safer, and finally let go of chronic tension 💆♀️✨
