6 months ago i travelled to japan & i’m only now realising just how much i needed to be there

it’s a trip that i think about daily, i just can’t get it out of my head

6 months ago i was a completely different person, full of anxiety, overwhelm & burn out!

over the past few months i’ve noticed myself moving differently, caring about the small details that never mattered to me before, slowing down completely and adding rituals into my daily routine

i feel more present than ever and it’s really given me my spark back✨✨✨

japan gave me a mindset shift that i wasn’t expecting, i can only really describe it as a little switch that has gone off in my lil ol brain & i can think clearly again, for the first time in years

when i’m asked about japan i always say it’s a place that you just have to experience, it’s a feeling you can’t describe, the slowness, respect, culture, the rituals

i’ve journaled a lot in my life but nothing has ever made more sense to me than when i was in the japanese mountains, I haven’t felt peace quite like it

when I say japan is a really special place I really mean it🥹☁️
