I’m tired so little Reo with be taking all enquiries for the rest of the day.

He has assured me his pencil is sharp and he has lots of credit on his phone.

He also takes payment in sausages. I’ve told him this is not good for business but he said he knows ( or nose) best.

He said Mummy does stuff with feet ring me please I’m starving.

I have had a few days off and feel refreshed and ready to go. I have a packed diary for the next few weeks and hoping to get some impressive before and after pictures of some feet.

When I am faced with a pair of feet that look impossible, I get genuinely excited and can’t wait to get stuck in.

Some patients say to me “ I don’t know how you can do your job”

My standard genuine reply is
“ I can’t believe I get paid to do something I absolutely love doing”

I dare you to give me a pair of feet I can’t improve in one treatment.

Are you hot and bothered?

One of the quick ways to cool yourself down is by putting your feet in a cold water and if you can stand it throw in a few ice cubs.
This will cool your blood as it rushes back up around you body, cooling your core.
Diabetics are advised NOT to this as your skin should never be left to soak in any temperature of water.
Prolonged soaking can cause skin breakdown and cause an infection.
There are lots of other reasons too.
An alternative could be a tea towel over a bag of peas and massage you feet on them just for 5 mins at a time.

For all those of you with suspected or diagnosed FUNGAL nail get you toes out and expose the nails to the UV light of the sun.
Bright dry heat is the exact opposite to what conditions fungal likes to grow in which is dark moist conditions such as socks and closed shoes.

My feet have been like prunes today as I’ve had my feet in a bowl under my desk.

More glorious fungal nail transformations. So grateful that these patients trust me to get them out of pain, see a way forward to a solution and all without judgement and a sincere willingness to want to transform lives. One patient had tears in their eyes as were able to now where shoes and leave the house for the first time in months.

This Verruca has had three treatments so far and is responding well.

The first picture is before I removed the top layer to expose the capillaries. I have to take so much skin off that exposes that makes it bleed and then treat whilst protecting the skin around it.

In between treatments the patient must treat daily with surgical spirit and cover with a dry unmedicated dressing.
