OUR NEW K11 PLUS 🤍

Something very exciting is coming to SKINZ…

On Thursday 3rd September, our brand new K11 Plus will be arriving, and we honestly cannot wait for you to experience it.

We’ve invested in one of the most premium sunbeds we’ve ever had at SKINZ, designed to make your tanning experience feel completely different.

The K11 Plus combines powerful tanning technology with an incredibly luxurious experience. The K11 Plus combines advanced UVA and UVB LED tanning technology with thousands of red-light LEDs, giving you the option to tan or simply enjoy the dedicated UV-free red-light experience without tanning.

It’s been designed with comfort, technology and the overall tanning experience in mind, making it something really special.

As this is our premium sunbed, the K11 Plus will be priced higher than our other beds, reflecting the level of technology and investment that has gone into bringing it to Skinz.

We’ll be sharing the new pricing very soon, but for now…

TEMPORARY OPENING HOURS…

Due to the extreme heat, we’re making a small change to our opening hours over the next couple of days to keep our team and customers as comfortable as possible 🤍

WEDNESDAY (Today)
8:00am – 2:30pm
Then reopening 7:30pm – 10:00pm

THURSDAY
8:00am – 2:30pm
Closed for the remainder of the day.

We’ll be back to our usual opening hours from Friday.

A LITTLE UPDATE AT SKINZ…

This Friday, we’ll be saying goodbye to our Bed 9.

We know this is one of our favourites for some of you, so we wanted to give you a little notice rather than it suddenly disappearing from the salon.

We’re really excited about what’s next and we’re already looking at some options for its replacement. We just want to make sure we choose the right bed for Skinz and, of course, for you.

In the meantime, we still have plenty of availability across our other beds, so there’s no need to worry about getting booked in.

We’ll keep you all updated once we’ve found the perfect replacement…

Here at SKINZ, your safety will always come first.

At SKINZ, we’re passionate about helping our customers achieve the best possible tan, but never at the expense of their health.

Recently we’ve noticed an increase in conversations around tanning injections and nasal tanning products. While we understand the appeal of wanting a deeper tan, these are not products that we promote, recommend or sell.

Our advice will always be to do your own research before putting anything into your body. Take the time to understand exactly what you’re using, where it has come from, the potential risks involved, and whether there is reliable evidence to support its safety. If something seems too good to be true, it often is. Making informed decisions about your health is one of the most important things you can do.

As a salon, if there were products available that were proven to be both safe and effective, we’d be the first to explore them for our customers. Until then, our priority will always be providing a professional tanning environment where safety comes first.

We would also kindly ask anyone using injectable products to dispose of needles responsibly. We have unfortunately found discarded needles in our salon bins, which creates a serious risk for our team and for those handling our waste. Our bins are not designed for the disposal of sharps, and we respectfully ask that they are never disposed of on our premises.

Opening Hours Update – Salon Closure

Due to the high temperatures over the next few days, our opening hours have been adjusted to ensure a more comfortable environment for both our customers and staff.

Thursday 9th July
Open: 8:00am – 1:00pm
Closed: 1:00pm – 7:00pm
Open: 7:00pm – 10:00pm

Friday 10th July
Open: 8:00am – 2:00pm
Closed: 2:00pm – 8:00pm
Open: 8:00pm – 10:00pm

Saturday 11th July
Open: 8:00am – 3:00pm

If you have an appointment booked during one of our temporary closure periods, please get in touch and we’ll be happy to reschedule it. Alternatively, you can amend your booking using our online booking system.

As many of you will know, we have been struggling with the extreme heat in the salon this week.

To allow the salon to cool down during the hottest part of the day, we will be operating the following opening hours:

Today: Open: 8am - 1pm
Closed: 1pm - 7pm
Open: 7pm - 10pm

Thursday: Open 8am - 1pm
Closed: 1pm - 7pm
Open: 7pm - 10 pm

Friday: Open 8am - 1pm
Closed: 1pm - 6pm
Open: 6pm - 10pm

Opening hours will remain the same as usual over the weekend when the temperature drops.

If you have a booking during our closure times, please contact us and we will happily rearrange it for you. Alternatively you can amend your booking online.

We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but the safety and wellbeing of our customers and team must come first.

We strongly recommend visiting during the morning where possible to avoid the hottest temperatures of the day.

Please remember to stay hydrated, avoid using tingle creams in hot weather, and do not combine sunbathing with sunbed use on the same day.

We will continue to monitor conditions and keep everyone updated via our social media should any further changes be necessary.
