A massive thank you to everyone who came out for our June quiz! Thanks to your support, all proceeds went directly toward the Bald the Boys campaign.
As you can see, our very own Seosamh stepped up to the razor and joined the balded boys, doesn''t he look handsome? 😉✂️
🧠 Save the date! Our next quiz is on August 7th, and this time we’re raising funds for the Omagh Uniform Exchange

💙 Bald the Boys.Inspirational Character #1
Ian "Scotty" Scott 💙
There could only be one to finish it off
Scotty fought cancer with incredible courage, strength and dignity. He lived life to the very end, never letting the illness define him. That's true inspiration.
Tough as nails on the rugby pitch, a magician around the Texas Hold'em table, and a man whose biggest pride was always his family and friends. He was also no stranger to helping others, supporting countless fundraisers over the years, especially for his beloved Accies and cancer charities. In true Scotty fashion, he even won one of those charity events alongside one of his closest friends.
Our Bald the Boys fundraiser is for Care for Cancer and Omagh Day Centre, and it's people like Scotty who remind us why this charity means so much. His courage, kindness and fighting spirit will never be forgotten.
Number 1 wasn't chosen because of how his story ended, but because of how he lived every single day.
A true inspiration. Forever remembered. 💙❤️

Would you look at that!
“Tonight will be the night that I will fall for you” 🎤… anyway
First up is Aidan! Aidan is a barber by trade, so he’s usually the one holding the clippers, not sitting in the chair! If you know him, you’ll know he hates Guinness, and if you’ve noticed he’s already been sporting a bit of a comb-over and following ‘most’ of his 5 brothers bar 1, you’ll know this head shave isn’t quite as big a sacrifice as it might be for some! But all jokes aside, Aidan is stepping up tonight to support an incredible cause.
Seosamh! Seosamh is a pub manager, so he’s well used to looking after a busy crowd and making sure everyone’s having a good time. He’s also a big fan of singing, and if there’s a karaoke microphone nearby, you’ll usually hear him before you see him! Now, he likes to tell everyone he’s a bit of an introvert… although anyone who’s heard him belt out a tune (on the street, on his own) or seen him working a packed pub might find that hard to believe! Tonight, he’s proving that he’s not just full of songs and stories.. he’s also got a huge heart!
Patrick! Or should I say… Conor? To be fair, it’s an easy mistake to make.. Patrick and his brother Conor are so alike that one of us spent far too long calling him by the wrong name! Patrick works in a local dairy, so he’s no stranger to an early start and plenty of hard work. Whether he’s known as Patrick or Conor tonight, one thing’s for certain, he’s here for a fantastic cause.
Mark (Taggs) If you can’t find Mark, don’t panic, he’s probably looking for his phone… again! Between the odd bet, a few drinks, and somehow managing to misplace his phone on what feels like a weekly basis, he’s always keeping life interesting. One thing he never loses, though, is his aim on the dart board. He’s a seriously talented darts player and always up for a bit of friendly competition. Tonight, he’s taking on a completely different challenge by shaving his head and ‘care for cancer’ is very close to the heart
Joe! Joe is the proud owner of Patrick… and Conor.. the two brothers who look so alike. Joe’s a class barman, and has stepped in for us in recent days 🦸 so he’s no stranger to serving up the craic, but if you’ve ever met him, you’ll know his biggest trademark is that infectious laugh. Once Joe gets laughing, everyone else joins in too! Tonight, he’s swapping pulling pints for the barber’s chair as he bravely shaves his head to raise vital funds.
Last but certainly not least, we have Lee! Lee is a teacher by day and a one-man band by night, so whether he’s in the classroom or entertaining a crowd, he’s always keeping people on their toes. (Irish dancing I may add too) Now, unlike the rest of the lads, Lee was so organised that he actually shaved his head before tonight because he was heading off on holidays! Although, between ourselves, he was already making a good start on the balding, so he probably wasn’t giving up too much anyway! But regardless of when the hair disappeared, Lee has proudly taken part to help raise.
Fair play to these lads, your kindness has not gone unnoticed!
See you all later..
Love you bye
