✨ An Important Update ✨

As you know this week has been nothing short of a nightmare. While it has been an incredibly difficult time, the kindness, love and support we’ve received has reminded us just how lucky we are to be part of such an amazing community.

I’m so grateful to share that, from Wednesday, 8th July, I’ll be working from the beautiful Honey Hair & Beauty.

💖 All appointments booked with Joanne from Wednesday 8th July onwards will be honoured as planned, just under a different roof.

Appointments with Catherine, Tara and Niamh will now take place through Honey Hair & Beauty rather than Couture Hair.

Over the next few days, I’ll be in touch with clients to make sure everyone has the information they need and to get everything organised as smoothly as possible.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have such a beautiful space to continue doing what I love. A very special thank you to Shannon for taking us all under her wing with so much love, kindness and compassion. Your generosity means more than words can ever say, and I’ll never forget it.

To everyone who has reached out, offered help, sent messages, donated or supported us in any way, thank you from the bottom of my heart. The love we’ve received from our community has been overwhelming, and I will be forever grateful. In the darkest of moments, you’ve reminded us what community truly means, and I will forever be in this town’s debt.

Please bear with me as I work through everyone’s appointments over the coming days. I really do appreciate your understanding and continued support while we navigate this transition together. Your kindness means more than you’ll ever know.

I seen so much hope and comfort today and I know I’ve a long healing process to go through but I couldn’t stay away from behind the chair for too long as you guys keep me going. I can’t wait to welcome you all to our new home in Honey ❤️🥹

We are still trying to come to terms with what has happened. We are heartbroken to share that the salon has been completely destroyed following a fire in the premises above.

In a matter of moments, everything we had worked so hard to build was gone. Our salon, our tools, our products, and so many memories that meant the world to us.

For some of us, this was our business. For others, it was our workplace. For all of us, it was our second home.
Although we are devastated, we are incredibly grateful that no one was hurt. That is all that truly matters.

To our wonderful clients, friends, and families, thank you for all the love, messages, and support you have already shown us. Your kindness is helping us through this.

We don’t know exactly what comes next, but we’ll keep everyone updated as we take our first steps forward. Thank you for keeping us in your thoughts.

It’s about time to reintroduce myself. 🤎

I have been a hairdresser for 15 years and 13 of those have been at Couture. 7 years ago I stepped into ownership taking it over from a good friend. I definitely felt like I had big shoes to fill but I have always given it everything I have.

Along the way three boys came into my life. Carter, Cooper and Cillian arrived during some of the busiest years of building the business. I could not have done it without my loyal staff, incredible clients and amazing family support which allowed me to be both a mum and owner.

There were moments of self doubt, more than I probably admit. But I kept going anyway.

Self employment is not easy but I truly love what I do. I am grateful for everyone who has supported me, sat in my chair, worked alongside me and been part of this journey.

Here is to continuing to grow, learn and move forward. With a lot of coffee along the way ☕
