I am excited to have his energy in our space as we enter this fresh new era of Shine. 🚀

Hey guys, as many of you already know, tomorrow sees my last day in Hair on the Square, but I’m not moving far 😜

It is not with a heavy heart that I write this post,I’m moving on to brighter times in Shine hair salon 🌞 💇🏻‍♀️ leaving my salon with pride, and feeling so humble that I lasted over 10 years 🥰

As you all know I have been going through a lot this year and this move is to make more time to care for myself, family and dogs 🐶

I have had the best 10 and a half years in Hair on the square, I will forever carry the laughs and memories that I made with you all forever ❤️

Although this isn’t a good bye in anyway,
I would like to thank every client that ever walked through my doors because without you all none of this would be possible ❤️ I look forward to seeing you all in Shine!

I’d like to also say a special thankyou to all the staff that worked with me in my time in the salon, you were all unique and truly amazing💞 big shout out to Lauren who stood by me during the worst time in my life ❣️

From harsh lines to lived-in luxury.
This transformation was a fun beautiful challenge.
The goal? “Make me blonder, softer, longer and make it last.”
First, we installed premium to create instant, dramatic length and fullness.
Next came the real magic: custom-colouring and melting everything together to erase that harsh money piece, which we both loved at the time but that had served well ,now for the OLD MONEY HAIR LOOK very much trending this summer along with big & bouncy.
The result is this seamless, rich, lived-in blonde. It gives all the brightness of a heavy blonde but with a soft, diffused root that will grow out beautifully for months.
More blonde, less maintenance, total seamless blend.

• Virgin hair is a dream to work on because the hair’s health allows me to create a seamless, dimensional glow without the history of previous colour.

• This look prioritizes a natural root shadow that mimics how the sun naturally lightens hair, making it both beautiful and incredibly low-maintenance.

• I’ve said it before & I’ll say it again low maintenance colour is the way forward with only the gloss/toner in-between the actual colour.

Q - Why do I need a toner between 4/6weeks after my colour/lightening treatment?

A- You Need It Every 4–6 Weeks
Toners are semi-permanent ok, lightening services are permanent (this is the base work or pattern if you want to call it )

The toner naturally wash out over time due to:
Shampooing: Sulfates strip the pigment away.
UV Rays: The sun (even our Irish sun) bleaches the toner, revealing the underlying warmth which All BLONDES HAVE yes all of you out there !
Heat Styling: High heat from irons/wands ect can literally cook the tone out of the hair as much as we love our hot tools.
Don’t fall into the Yellow-Trap
If you skip the toner service, your beautiful lived-in blonde will eventually turn brassy. A 20-minute gloss/toner appointment is the easiest way to make an old hair colour look brand new again without the damage of more bleach.
