A proud moment for Oxford Travel Clinic established by Roundway Pharmacy.

Our Lead Clinician at Oxford Travel Clinic, Nadia Amin, was honoured to be invited to chair a session at the Faculty of Travel Medicine Conference at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow. Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow

Nadia said: "It was a privilege to be among such esteemed speakers and guests, including nationally and internationally recognised figures in Travel Medicine. The Collegeโ€™s Faculty of Travel Medicine is the only one of its kind in Europe, making this a particularly meaningful occasion.โ€

Roundway Pharmacy is proud to celebrate this recognition. This achievement reflects the dedication, expertise, and ambition of women who work tirelessly to contribute to healthcare and business, despite the barriers they face.

Thank you to our wonderful team and community who have supported us along the way. ๐Ÿ’š

We truly value the incredible work Porch Oxford does, and their services are accessed by our patients from across Oxford.

Over the final days of September, weโ€™re challenging ourselves to complete 10,000 steps. For every 10,000 steps completed, weโ€™ll donate essential items from our pharmacy to Every step will help make a difference. ๐Ÿฅพ๐Ÿงก

A huge thank you to our friends at Khair Din Groceries and Quarry WI for supporting our fundraiser with their generous food donations.

You can aim for 10,000 steps in one day or build them up over a few daysโ€” every little counts! And what a way to get your hearts and minds healthy and happy.

Letโ€™s walk together, support our community and help strengthen the bond of giving. ๐Ÿ’š

Last night, we had the pleasure of being invited once again to speak at Quarry WI. The work these ladies do is truly incredible. They provide a safe and welcoming space for women in the local area, coming together regularly for lunches, afternoon teas and a variety of fundraisers.

Through these gatherings, they help to tackle social isolation, nurture wellbeing and create meaningful connections โ€” reminding us that community can be one of the greatest forms of support.

This year, our presentation focused on The Gift of Giving. We shared some beautiful discussions around the simple act of kindness: how even the smallest gesture, a smile, a listening ear or a moment of generosity, can brighten someoneโ€™s day and leave a lasting impact. In a busy world, these moments remind us that kindness still has the power to bring people closer.

Once again, a massive thank you to Quarry WI, and to all the other groups within our local area who do so much for our community. Your time, compassion and commitment do not go unnoticed.๐Ÿ’š

BBC Make A Difference Awards BBC Oxfordshire โœจ๏ธโœจ๏ธ

What an honour it was to attend such a wonderful event in support of our beloved Oxford Phoenix FC.

This team is a family โ€” and so much more than a football club. We are incredibly proud to see them nominated for the Active Award. Their spirit, dedication and inclusivity continue to inspire everyone around them; they truly embody what it means to build bridges across our communities.๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ–ค

The room was filled with remarkable individuals and community groups from across Oxfordshire, each making a meaningful difference in their own way. It was also a real privilege to see two of our local heroes recognised through nominations.โœจ๏ธโœจ๏ธ

The wonderful Sandhills Nature Group never ceases to amaze us. We feel so fortunate to witness first-hand the positive impact of their work on so many of our customers, neighbours and the wider community.

And if you are local to Risinghurst, you will almost certainly know the one and only Barbara Naylor โ€” a true legend and an extraordinary woman. Barbara opened the door for us to serve our community, gave us the opportunity to be part of the local Parish Council for more than five years, and has allowed us to support her incredible work over the past decade. We are endlessly grateful.

There is no community without care, kindness and selfless acts of service. May we all continue to give back in whatever way we can, however small it may seem. ๐Ÿ’š

This is our 10th year of supporting secondary school work experience students from across Oxford and we couldn't be more honoured to have done so.๐Ÿ“š

We have learnt a great deal over these years and so much talent has walked through our doors. Our business strives itself in building bridges across our communities and helping to develop tomorrow's leaders. Youth provisions is a massive part of our work.
We have employed 98% of our students directly from our work experience programme.

We absolutely enjoy watching others develop and helping them achieve their full potential. This form of giving and helping others is our gift to our community and to those in need. We are stronger together. ๐Ÿ’š

Thank you to and the Oxfordshire Careers Hub for your efforts in connecting businesses to local schools and colleges.

And not to forget our partnership schools:

National Refugee Week reminds us that our communities are stronger because of the people who have chosen to make this country their home.

As a family-run pharmacy founded by the children of immigrants, we are proud to serve alongside a team representing many cultures, backgrounds and journeys. Across the UK, countless high street businesses, NHS services and community organisations have been built, strengthened and enriched by those who arrived here seeking opportunity, safety and a better future.

We believe in treating every person with dignity, kindness and respect. We do not see ethnicity, nationality or background as barriers โ€” we see neighbours, patients and members of our community.

Our doors are open to all. We are honoured to serve everyone who walks through them, and we will always support the greater good, inclusivity and compassionate care for all.

Different backgrounds. Shared purpose. Stronger together. ๐Ÿ’š
